Eight days up the Alaska Highway, and as always, a gorgeous trip complete with awesome scenery and wildlife at every corner. We always keep a record of which animals and how many we see each day. On this trip, we saw at least 1 bear every single day, but usually spotted them in groups of 2 or 3. The best part was, we actually saw a grizzly bear (which I thought was awesome), and the rest being black bear. Sheep, Caribou, moose, bison and eagles were among the other wildlife we encountered. It doesn't get any better than seeing wildlife in their natural environment....and, how in the world do those sheep manage to ascend and descend on those rocky mountains?





This year, we decided on a side trip to Skagway...and so glad we did. What a neat little town. Downtown Skagway has lots of shops reminiscent of the gold rush days. We had lunch at a place called the Red Onion...back in the day it was a brothel, and for $5.00 today you can have a 15 minute tour of the 'upstairs.' We elected instead for a burger and beer..expensive, but quite good.


In the year 1898, the Gold Rush brought thousands to Skagway. The town boomed and the busted shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, in April, 1898, there was an avalanche that killed almost 2,000 people....they buried the victims right there and aptly named it 'Slide Cemetary'. What I found pretty cool was the fact that they had headstones, made of lumber, with the name of the deceased, where they were from, and the year of death, 1898. Hey, I love history and delving in to how people lived and survived in those times.

The side trip to Skagway was the only RV park stay we had on the trip. There are so many places along the Alaska Highway to pull off the road. On this trip, we discovered a great spot, right on a lake. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Can't beat that!

So, we are here for the summer. It's coming home for us. (Just wish it was a tad bit warmer).

Muslim Pig Pleads Not Guilty

This worthless excuse of a human being pleads not guilty in the cold blooded murder of the young army recruiter in Arkansas.

But, it gets better. He also claims he was justified in killing the young soldier. He stated that 'murder is when you kill someone unjustly'....then further stated 'this killing was not unjust. American soldiers kill innocent Muslim men in the Middle East. I was just fulfilling my Islamic duty, the killing was justifiable.'

For anyone still choosing to keep their eyes closed about Islam, this should open them, because his statement alone speaks volumes as to the mindset of these radical Muslim terrorists. In the name of Islam. Scary thought....there are thousands more of these pigs out there right now in our country with the same hatred who wish nothing more than to kill Americans, soldier or not.

I hope he never sees the light of day. Ever again.

Cash For Clunkers Bill Passes The House

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House has approved the "cash for clunkers" bill to boost lagging auto sales.
The bill would allow consumers to turn in their gas-guzzling cars and trucks for a $4,500 voucher for more fuel-efficient vehicles.
President Barack Obama has encouraged Congress to approve consumer incentives for new car purchases as part of the government's work to restructure General Motors and Chrysler. The House approved the bill 298-119.

Ironic timing, isn't it? With Chrysler in bankruptcy, GM in bankruptcy....who's going to want to buy a new car from a bankrupt company? No problem!! Our Government, aka Obama-ass has a plan! Just turn in your clunker to the new Government Motors, (which must be driveable, no older than 1984 and get more than 18 mpg), they will give you a voucher for $4500.00 TOWARDS the price of a new fuel effiicient matchbox! Such a deal! NOT.

Do you have a job? Do you qualify for financing? Can you afford the payment? Should you go in to debt for a new car? Obviously, our Government run auto company thinks you should.

I foresee our Government putting Ford out of business, because I'd be willing to bet this new incentive will be applicable only to the cars GM will sell.

I also foresee, this bill turning in to a mandatory thing. Our Government (Obama-ass) doesn't want us driving SUV's, pickups, or paid for older models. They want us driving tiny deathtraps. All in the name of carbon emissions.

Do Not Believe Obama's Lies

It's been a few days since IslamObama's speech in Cairo, Egypt. I have listened to the speech and I have read opinions of others regarding it.
The conclusion I have drawn is that his speech was never intended to be an outreach to the Muslim world, they (muslims) already acknowledge Obama is one of them. His speech was rather a continuing effort on his part to desensitize Americans into accepting Islam as a peaceful religion and Muslims as peaceful people.
Obama has already won the vote and support of 58% of the American population simply by speaking. He has no track record, he has no experience, he has no plan...for anything.
Yet, 58% of Americans hold on to his every word with bated breath and will believe everything that comes out of the man's mouth.

He had only to convince Americans that Islam is peace, Muslims are peaceful people and there are no terrorists. He took another step towards that goal last week in Cairo as he praised Islam. No matter that his facts were inaccurate or that his interpretation of the Koran was misleading, Americans loved every minute and ate every word up, then they sat back and watched another episode of Jon & Kate.
Most Americans are mesmerized by Obama's words....some even believe him to be the messiah...a god. Our younger generation are inspired by him as they see him to be one of them. The truth is Obama is NOT one of them. He's not even an American.

Bravo, Obama. Mission accomplished.

Muslims/terrorists have been infiltrating every country, including the U.S. at an alarming rate. Their goal is to become the supreme religion and implement Sharia Law in every country.They are full of hatred towards ALL nonbelievers. They are taught to hate, taught to kill. Do not be ignorant about their true motives.

Jerusalem Embassy..Obama Quietly Edits

More confirmation where Obama stands....and it is NOT with Israel.

Late on Friday The Washington Times' Christian Bourge obtained a copy of Presidential Determination 2009-19, latest in a series of pro forma memos to the Secretary of State entitled "Suspension of Limitations Under the Jerusalem Embassy Act."
This determination is a legally required waiver under said act to continue to delay the May 31, 1999 deadline for moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Nearly identical memos like this have been issued every six months for the last decade.
Standard procedure, no big deal, right? Well in the Bush years the memo contained the sentence, "My Administration remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to Jerusalem."

The Obama team has edited that passage out. This explains the Friday evening release.

Obama should explain exactly what his policy is on this issue, and why he is not committed to beginning the process of moving the embassy.

Chrysler Bankruptcy in ObamaLand

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- A top Obama administration lawyer urged the Supreme Court on Monday to allow Chrysler's bankruptcy to proceed, noting that the needs of the economy outweigh the needs of the deal's detractors.
U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan filed a request that the court deny an appeal by Indiana pension funds that had invested in Chrysler and say they will lose $6 million because of the bankruptcy.
Kagan defended the use of funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program and argued that Indiana's appeal lacks legal merit. In addition, she said the losses to the Indiana funds "cannot outweigh" the potential broader problems a collapse of Chrysler would present.
"As an economic matter ... blocking the transaction would undoubtedly have grave consequences," Kagan wrote

When you consider his actions, it is easier to understand why things are the way they are.

Remove Military Decals Or Be Towed At Dallas Condo

The Woodlands II On The Creek homeowener’s association in Texas has a rule in their homeowners association rule book, that no forms of advertisement are permitted on cars or homes on the property. So they sent Larrison a letter.
“…has observed that your vehicle has decal advertising on its exterior”
Apparently, the board is interpreting that rule to include military decals as forms of advertisement and therefore they must be removed. Otherwise, his car will be towed and he can face fines.

Obama's Jive Talking..Jobs

It's Monday morning and your president is jive talking...again. This morning it's about jobs, the economy.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Monday he expected to create or save 600,000 jobs over the next 100 days by expediting 10 major projects funded by a huge stimulus package that Congress passed in February. Yeah. Uh-huh. Whatever dude.

The link below is quite fascinating. Go immediately to page 5 where the Obama Admin. predicted that without the spendulus plan, unemployment would go to 8.8%. Riight. So they rammed the spendulus plan through and we have unemployment at 9.4% and 1.6 millions jobs lost.

The bottom line is: Obama-turd's plan is not working, was never intended to work, and will not work. This IS Obama's recession (depression). The numbers don't lie! But Obama does. Every time he opens his mouth, it's just more jive talking. blah, blah, blah.

6600 American soldiers, died, were wounded or missing on this one day alone.

The invasion of Normandy was in total, history's greatest amphibious operation, involving on the first day 5,000 ships, 11,000 aircraft (following months of preliminary bombardment); and approximately 154,000 British, Canadian and American soldiers, including 23,000 arriving by parachute and glider. The invasion also involved a long-range deception plan on a scale the world had never before seen.

A lot has changed in 65 years, hasn't it? Today, as I listened to a WWII veteran talk about D-day , it was heartbreaking. It's been 65 years, and you could hear the tremble in his voice and see the tears in his eyes as he recalled the details of that day. He spoke as though it happened yesterday. Very sad.

We need to support our troops and honor our military. They are the reason we enjoy our freedom....let's not forget.

Microsoft Moving Employees Offshore

June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Microsoft Corp. Chief Executive Officer Steven Ballmer said the world’s largest software company would move some employees offshore if Congress enacts President Barack Obama’s plans to impose higher taxes on U.S. companies’ foreign profits.

“It makes U.S. jobs more expensive,” Ballmer said in an interview. “We’re better off taking lots of people and moving them out of the U.S. as opposed to keeping them inside the U.S.”

Czar Update...Another Czar To Be Appointed

The administration may appoint Kenneth Feinburg — who managed compensation to victims of the September 11 attacks — to oversee compensation paid to executives, according to a report filed at the Wall Street Journal. Let's not forget; all Czars report solely to Obama. They don't have to answer to Congress and they don't have to account for the almost $1.7 TRILLION DOLLARS they will be responsible for.

Today is a new day and looks like we will have another new Czar. Kenneth Feinburg will be our Pay Czar. Woo hoo! So, what exactly will the Pay Czar do? Any companies that have taken the stimulus money will now be told how much money they can pay their employees. That will be Feinburg's responsibility as the Pay Czar...he will determine how much money PRIVATE companies can pay their employees!

So much for capitalism....fast track to Socialism.

On a side note: The South Carolina Governor that refused to take $300 million of the stimulus money, has now been ordered...YES, ORDERED (forced) to take it!

Hey, it's like taking money from the mafia. You take their money, they own you.

A Moustache For Dear Leader?

When I saw this picture, I had to pull my laptop closer for a better look. Do I see the trace of a moustache? This photo is from Obambi's speech in Cairo, so it is a current photo.

This got me to thinking....most all Muslims have facial hair whether it be a mousache, beard or both, right? Look at the Saudi King, President of Iran, oh hell, just look at any picture of any Muslim, and behold....they all have facial hair.

I doubt Obama neglected to shave just prior to his long awaited, highly publicized, apologizing speech to the Muslim world. So, I am left with just one conclusion. Obambi's growing a 'stache.

Czar Crazy In The Obama Administration

Let me premise this with the definition of Czar - in case you didn't know.

Today, Cameron Davis has been appointed as the Great Lake Czar by Obama. The long and short of Davis's Czar position is that he will oversee the spending of over $20 Billion to clean up the Great Lakes. Yeah, okay.
But, back to my point. What in the world is going on? Do you realize that the Czars Obamassiah has appointed will report to and answer ONLY to dear leader himself. No need to go through Congress. The Czars have all the power and authority. Here's a list of Czars thus far:

No need for Americans to vote for elected officials, because there will be no need for elected officials....just Czars. The Czars have only to answer to dear leader himself.

Dr. Tiller, The Baby Killer

This topic has been on my mind alot lately. I don't know why, I can't explain it. But, I have been bothered and burdened with the abortion issue and the truth that accompanies it.
THEN WE HAD THIS:
Dr. Tiller - late term abortionist. Murdered last Sunday while attending church.

I'd be willing to wager that whatever church Dr. Tiller attended was not preaching or teaching God's word, the Bible. Most likely, his church was officiated by someone like Joel Osteen talking in that 'feel good, all is good, warm, fuzzy, touchy, feely' manner. God is very clear. Thou shalt not kill. There is no negotiating on this. As always, God's position on everything leaves nothing to doubt and nothing to chance.

No man, or woman, could possibly sit in a church pew Sunday after Sunday listening to the living word of God....and then come Monday morning, kill a baby. And, not just one baby, not two babies....try 60,000 babies! Dr. Tiller was responsible for killing 60,000 babies (late term pregnancies). Some pro-choicers would argue the mother's life was in danger. Bullcrap! Research it. Some reasons these women gave went like this:
"I don't want to give my BABY up for adoption" - it's a baby! a living being for crying out loud.
"I don't have time in my life for a BABY" -

Remember when Ben(dover) Bernanke said unemployment rates would not exceed 8%. Reality check, dude. Nationally, unemployment rates hit 9% a month ago. These unlucky 13 cities are posting far higher numbers, and the numbers are most likely to go up as Chrysler and GM layoff thousands.

Then we have the foreclosures. FOX news reported this morning that 1 in every 8 houses are in foreclosure. ONE in EIGHT, guys!! I knew four years ago we were headed for the cliff with foreclosures.

As I watched people take out option arm mortgages, interest only loans, 2nds, 3rds and HELOC's, it was quite obvious. Property values raced to the top of the mountain so quickly from 2000-2006...what goes up must always come down. And down they did.

People were buying high and mortgaged to the hilt. Where are we today with foreclosures? 1 in 8 homes! Have the banks changed their lending practices? NO! I still see commercials for zero down payment, cash out refinances, and the best one is 'no social security number required.' Geez.

You know what? As often as Obama blames Bush for all the problems he 'inherited'. Obama owns this recession...or dare I say Depression. It's all yours Obama.

Obama In Pakistan In 1981..why?

Who IS the President of the United States? Obama has spent nearly $800,000.00 thus far in legal fees in an effort to keep his birth certificate, school records and medical records locked up and kept private. Here is what he said during his campaign:

"You do that in eighty countries," Obama said, "You don't know those eighty countries. So when I speak about having lived in Indonesia for four years, having family that is impoverished in small villages in Africa --knowing the leaders is not important -- what I know is the people...I traveled to Pakistan when I was in college -- I knew what Sunni and Shia was [sic] before I joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee."

He traveled to Pakistan in 1981..that would make him 20 years old at the time. How could a 20 yr. old college student who supposedly comes from humble beginnings afford a ticket to Pakistan? But, not just Pakistan. He first traveled to Indonesia, then Pakistan, Karachi, and India on that trip in 1981.

While in Pakistan, he stayed with and was hosted by Muhammadian Mian Soomro, Obama’s senior by 11 years, son of a Pakistani politician and himself a politician, who later becomes interim President of Pakistan when Pervez Musharraf resigns in August of 2008. Soomro states that “someone” personally requested that he “watch over” Barack Obama, but Soomro will not name that individual - who today allegedly lives in South America. (hat tip-the bear)

Kissing ass and rubbing elbows with the King is just a prelude before O'man heads to Cairo, Egypt. There he will deliver the much anticipated speech to the 1.5 Billion Muslims worldwide.

He claims to want to 'open the dialogue' with Muslims. Translation: "I want to apologize to the Muslims for America, after all, America is such an evil country."

The Muslim population SHOULD be apologizing to the United States! Remember 9/11? Remember the U.S.S. Cole? Remember the World Trade Center? Remember the Muslim pig that killed an army recruiter just this week?

We shoot off fireworks, have barbecues and all across the NATION, we sing "God Bless America", "The Star Spangled Banner', "America The Beautiful" and "My Country, Tis Of Thee".

Our men and women in uniform risk their lives every day to protect the very freedom and independence that allows us to celebrate on the 4th of July and now Obama wants to turn our Nation's day of freedom to embracing the very people that attacked our country on September 11, 2001!

I am not at all surprised at Obama's action. He does not love this country, nor is he an American. What I am surprised at is the complacency of the American people. Disgusting.

Well, that didn't take long. Already a website dedicted to the REinvention of GM, a snazzy little commercial complete with 'green shoots' and everything. Please click on the title that will take you directly to the nifty little site Obama and his thugs have cleverly crafted at the most appropriate moment.

After viewing the website, one is left with 'hope' and 'change' and 'promise' for GM.

What I don't understand is WHY IN THE HELL did GM not do what they are now promising they will do? Today they are promising thousands of jobs to change the cars they will build with the hope of changing America.

For the past 30 years, the powers that be at the old GM ran the company in to the ground. Along comes you, the taxpayer with around $33.4 billion for GM. They burned through that money......remember, 'too big to fail'? They failed, they're filing bankruptcy. Bye Bye GM.

Ah, but it's a new day! All is bright and cheery at the New GM today. We will chip in another $30 billion, and they will build cute little death traps for all of us. No more problems, no financial issues, no worry of loss of jobs.

Our Government (Obama) now holds 60% interest in...guess what...AN AUTO COMPANY. No worry. He promises to 'get in and get out as quickly as possible'.

But then, tonight, this headline: "Cash For Clunkers". Perfect! GM goes nite nite, hands the keys over to The One, and now they're ready to pass the Cash For Clunkers Bill, which has been renamed, Drive America Forward Act. Your vehicle that does not meet the new CAFE standards Obama has set, can be traded in at the local GM in exchange for a $4500 voucher towards the price of a new, green friendly, good for the earth, teeny tiny itsby bitsy piece of shit car.

Look for this Drive America Forward Act to be buried in an FDA bill regulating food safety.

This will pass the Senate, very soon.
