Jack's Day
We just picked Jack up from The groomer.
Looks like Jack And Dad were photo-opting while I was in CVS.
Yesterday was Jack's day for sure. He was dropped off at the groomer at 11:00, picked up at 2:00, and then visited two of his favorite stores, PETCO and Pet Smart. He cleaned them out of his favorite puppy snacks, (6 bags), and treated himself to a doggy biscuit after checking out. Neither store had the Waggin' Train brand ham chewies, so off to Target, send Dad in for two large bags, while waiting in the car, sporting his Halloween bandana.
By the time we got home, Jack was pooped out and ready to call it a day.

Champions
Congratulations St Louis Cardinals!!! It was an amazing World Series to watch, and I'm disappointed the Rangers lost, but quite frankly, the Cardinals played a better game. I went to bed last night when the score was 2-4, Cardinals. I knew they were going to win considering the momentum of the game. There's always next year, Rangers.

Youser! What a Game
What an exciting and amazing game last night! I seriously thought Henry was going to go into cardiac arrest a couple different times.
So many surprising errors and some awesome homers turned the game into an edge of your seat, yelling, screaming and jumping out and down adventure.
Congrats. Cardinals for a game well played. We shall see you tonight for game 7.

Darn the Rain
ST. LOUIS — Game 6 of the World Series was postponed Wednesday because of a wet forecast, delaying the Texas Rangers’ bid to clinch their first championship.
Major League Baseball announced the decision about 4½ hours before the Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals were set to play. At the time, no rain had fallen at Busch Stadium, but heavy precipitation was expected.
Texas leads the Series 3-2. Game 6 was rescheduled for Thursday night at 8:05 p.m. EDT. If Game 7 is necessary, it would be played Friday night.
Bummer. Okay, tomorrow night. I'll be there...well, I'll be here...but will definitely be watching the game! Tonight I will watch Survivor.
Dad and Mom
Henry and I were honored yesterday with a brief visit from my parents. They are in route to Florida for the youngest of their great grandchildren's second birthday celebration. Dad and Mom arrived in Dallas yesterday afternoon and brought with them a cherished piece of furniture that had belonged to my Grandmother. The tea cart shown above. Grandmother always had a whimsical bird that plays a tune, sitting on the tea cart. Both pieces have been passed to me! My daughter will be envious of the bird, as she loves everything 'birds'. So, I polished the tea cart and decided to put it in our bedroom. The bird is in its rightful place, alongside a picture of my Grandmother.
It was nice to see Dad and Mom, as always. They are both getting up in years, so I appreciate any time I can spend with them. Why didn't I take a picture of them? I intended to, and it must have slipped my mind. We all went out for dinner at a place Henry discovered, called Sevy's. The food was amazing, the prices a bit over the top, but we had a good time, and spent the customary three hours dining....that's the way dinner out with my parents goes. Have a drink...wait...order appetizer...wait...order dinner...eat...wait...order dessert and coffee...wait...wait. Visiting all the while... Dad is just that way . But it is fine with me, because I know one day I will miss those dinners with both of them.

Just Sayin'
Muhammad Speaks December 1960 edition. This picture was taken at an Elijah Muhammad speech in Sept. 1960 in NYC. the woman with the short hair appears to be Ann Dunham, Obama's mother. Pictures of Ann Dunham released by the Obama administration always show an Ann with long hair, however, it has been alleged that those photos have been altered to give the impression her hair was long. In fact, Ann Dunham typically kept her hair short. The chin, the mouth...unmistakeable, Ann Dunham.
This photo, released by the Obama admin. is the one allegedly tampered with to look as if her hair is long. Visit The Terrible Truth website for the digital imageries.
This photo is from an archived edition of Muhammad Speaks from early 1962. Compare this woman with the one below of a younger Ann Dunham. Look at the baby. Hello, baby Obama. A REAL picture of the baby Obama.
Alleged picture of baby Obama released by Obama admin. this one has also been deemed to have been 'tweaked'.
And, finally, the man himself, Malcolm X. Malcolm appears in several of Muhammad Speaks editions. One cannot deny the uncanny resemblances and mannerisms between Obama ad Malcolm. How about one generation later?
Malia Obama in the next two photos, and Malcolm X's daughter in the last one.

Really? Aw, we're not surprised at All
Here's the skinny on Odumbo's HARP 2 not gonna fix a darn thing 'new' mortgage assistance for a few:
Borrower Eligibility
The existing mortgage must have been sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac on or before May 31, 2009. Homeowners can determine if they have a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loan by going to: http://www.FannieMae.com/loanlookup/ or calling 800-7FANNIE (8 am to 8 pm ET) https://ww3.FreddieMac.com/corporate/or 800-FREDDIE (8 am to 8 pm ET)
The program will continue to be available for loans with LTVs above 80 percent.
Borrowers must be current on their mortgage payments with no late payment in the past six months
and no more than one late payment in the past 12 months.
Borrowers should contact their existing lender or any other mortgage lender offering HARP refinances.
You don't really need to read all
EIGHT pages unless you're completely bored. Here's the jest of it in five statements:
1. Your mortgage must be with Fannie or Freddie.
2. If you're looking to reduce your principal, sorry Charlie.
3. If your mortgage was sold to Fannie or Freddie AFTER 2009, sorry about your luck.
4. If you've been late on your mortgage payments, nope, you don't qualify. Hey, aren't those needing help probably late on their payments? Otherwise, they'd not be needing help, right? I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking this.
5. If by chance your bank chooses not to participate, for whatever reason...like maybe they don't like your shoes? You'd be outta luck.
Yeah. That's the big mortgage assistance. Wonder how much it's gonna cost you and I?
The man who thinks he is King
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama this week will announce a series of actions to help the economy that will not require congressional approval, including an initiative to make it easier for homeowners to refinance their mortgages, according to a White House official.
(there he goes again...circumventing congress. King Obama)
The actions come as Obama is facing resistance from Republicans to a $447 billion jobs package he has urged Congress to pass.
The first of the initiatives will be unveiled during Obama's three-day trip to western states beginning Monday.. (wasn't this clown just in the west? Guess more campaigning to do?)
He will discuss the changes in mortgage rules at a stop in Nevada, which has one of the hardest-hit housing markets in the country.
The Obama administration has been working with the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the regulator for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to find ways to make it easier for borrowers to switch to cheaper loans even if they have little to no equity in their homes. (the problem is not little equity, the problem is people are underwater....)
The FHFA intends to loosen the terms of the two-year-old Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP), which helps borrowers who have been making mortgage payments on time but who have not been able to refinance as their home values have dropped.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the changes should boost refinancing because they will let banks avoid the risk of any "buy-back" on a HARP mortgage as long as borrowers have made their last six mortgage payments and they prove that they have a job or another source of passive income. (many people have stopped altogether making their mortgage payments, so most will not qualify....have a job? Funny)
They are also set to reduce loan fees that Fannie and Freddie charge and waive fees on borrowers that refinance into loans with shorter terms, the Journal said.
Pricing details won't be published until mid-November, and lenders could begin refinancing loans under the retooled program as soon as December 1, the newspaper reported, citing federal officials. Loans that exceed the current limit of 125 percent of the property's value won't be able to participate until early next year, the report said.
In Denver Wednesday, Obama will announce a student loan initiative.
(the taxpayers are already on the hook for the government backed student loans, so what now, Obama?)
"The only way we can truly attack our economic challenges is with bold, bipartisan action in Congress," White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer told The New York Times.
"The president will continue to pressure Congressional Republicans to put country before party and pass the American Jobs Act, but he believes we cannot wait, so he will act where they won't."(put country first? ( ObaMao....funny man)

That didn't take Long
Egypt, Tunisia, and now Libya. Islamic law is going to rule these countries. And to think, the people thought they were being liberated. There is no freedom with sharia law.
(CBS/AP) TRIPOLI - Libya's transitional leader has declared liberation of the country, three days after the death of its leader of four decades, Muammar Qaddafi.
Mustafa Abdul-Jalil also told thousands of supporters at a ceremony on Sunday that Islamic Sharia law would be the "basic source" of legislation in the country, and that existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified.
In an address that set an Islamist tone for post-Qaddafi Libya, he said new banks would be set up to follow the Islamic banking system, which bans charging interest.
"This revolution was looked after by God to achieve victory," he told the crowd.
The declaration, officials say, will start the clock for elections after months of bloodshed that culminated in Qaddafi's death last week.
very Cool
LOOK at the camels first and then read the message below.
This is a picture taken from directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered to be one of the best pictures of the year. When you look closely, you can see that the camels are the little white lines in the picture.
The black images you see are just the shadows!
Sometimes, our "problems" seem to be as big as the shadows...but they are little. Have a lovely day!
LOOK ONCE MORE.
Thanks, Smokey! Awesome.
Hmmm...
Iranian demonstrators gathered outside the Swiss embassy in Tehran Saturday, setting an Israeli flag on fire to show support for the ongoing Occupy Wall Street movement sweeping the U.S.
They carried signs that bore familiar slogans, including, “The end of Wall Street” and “We are the 99 percent.“ Chants included ”Death to capitalism“ and ”Death to U.S.”. Via gatewaypundit.
The two pictures above are from 2009. Protesting election results in Iran. You can see much more anger and passion in these pictures, but notice the clenched fists......also a trademark of OWS. I question the protestors in Iran today, supporting OWS. Do those people really care about Wall Street? Who is behind organizing them?
Then this idiot. He was seen in NYC at the OWS protest. Clearly, he should research Islam because he has not a clue.
CAIR, Council on American Islamic Relations, sent out word for Friday prayer to be held with the OWS protestors.....and they all showed up, littering the streets.
Where is this all headed? Curious groups are showing up as of lately.

Okay. What the heck is This?
At the Federal Communications Commission's June 9, 2011 Agenda meeting, Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau Chief Jamie Barnett, joined by representatives from FEMA and the National Weather Service, announced that the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) would take place at 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on November 9, 2011. The purpose of the test is to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a public alert mechanism. EAS Participants currently participate in state-level monthly tests and local-level weekly tests, but no top-down review of the entire system has ever been undertaken. The Commission, along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will use the results of this nationwide test to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a public alert mechanism, and will work together with EAS stakeholders to make improvements to the system as appropriate.

Rangers vs. Cardinals
The Rangers have returned to Dallas and will be playing the St. Louis Cardinals in the next three games. We will be watching from the comfort of our living room as we cheer on the Rangers! When Henry told me the Yankees were no longer a contender and that Texas had a shot at being in the World Series, baseball took on a whole new life for me once again. So, let's go, Rangers!

No Clue
Do you wonder how much the occupiers really know, or don't know? In other words, how clueless are they?
After asking a series of questions to 50 occupiers, the above shows the results. Yup, clueless.

Well, I am trying to show the link where I found the information, but obviously, I haven't yet figured out all the ins and outs of Blogsy. So, the link is above, although it is not clickable. Sorry about that.

Oh so Shiny!
Finally, I am beginning to fill my pot rack. The utensils arrived today, and I just ordered them yesterday! Tomorrow, the set o pots and pans will come in.
We got a new cordless coffee kettle, too. (please ignore the old woman in the picture)
Also....new silverware! Service for eight. I have had the old set for at least thirty years, so I'd say it was time for something new.
This whole getting our house put together has been fun, but wow. The prices of furniture, accessories and now kitchen things is insane.
We now have a second assigned parking space in the parking garage, so both the Jeep and the car are parked safely inside, away from any potential hail, wind or other damage. I know Henry will be able to sleep better now. Now, if only someone could do something about this horrible wind we've had since last night. It's wreaking havoc with my begonias on the balcony.
Nice
The Blaze is reporting today that the Occupy Wall Street protestors are Being robbed.
Thousands of dollars in donations have been stolen, their kitchen budget (money, I'm guessing) has disappeared, and some are claiming their laptops and beds ad being ripped off. This begs the question, isn't the redistribution of wealth what they've been demanding? Perhaps those stealing were simply taking what they believed to be their fair share. What a bunch of hypocrites. I wonder if they will enlist the help of the police to assist in recovering the stolen items? That would be the same police they have threatened and attacked, would it not?
aww, the poor souls. And, to think they really believe we can all live in perfect harmony, peace, love and all that.
Aftershock, a must read
I am currently reading a book sent to me free titled 'Aftershock'. This is the second book by David Wiedemer and covers everything about the global financial meltdown, or in other words, Recovery? what recovery?
I highly recommend ordering a copy, unless you listen to and believe the talking financial experts on TV. They want us to believe that all is well, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.

Don't stomp on MY flag!
Do you know who Bill Ayers is? this is him in 2001, desecrating the U.S. flag.
This is one of the Occupy protestors, from just two days ago, desecrating our flag.
It is getting uglier by the day. The protests are growing in size, spreading to more cities, and now to other countries. The protestors are a mixed bag of people, with just one thing in common. They are confused. They don't understand what Capitalism really is, and they certainly don't realize how their life would be if living in a socialist country.
Most concerning though is the direction their movement seems to be taking. After just watching a Texas Rangers ball game last night and seeing George and Laura Bush in attendance........then this morning reading that some are now calling for the hanging of President Bush, and the beheadings of others, I can see some frightening times ahead.
And to think they called us Tea Party crowd extremists. boy, oh boy.

Not one of the 99%...
YOu may have to click on the image to enlarge in order to read this, but good for this kid. His/her parents raised this kid right!
Herman Cain
I've been following Herman Cain for months now, and really like the guy! After last night's debate and the one that preceded it, he is taking the lead. Yay!
If you look at the other contenders, there really is not much there. Romney, ugh. What I dislike most about him is the fact that RomneyCare in MA. was the blueprint for Obamacare, and that is enough to make me shy away.
Gingrich, no thanks. Don't trust him.
Perry? He's already proven he doesn't cut the mustard, and his stance on illegals makes him a turnoff.
Bachman. Like her enough, but she doesn't stand a chance, so, nope.
Huntsman? Who?
Santorum. just another wuss.
Back to Mr. Cain. He's a businessman with a proven track record. He doesn't back down. He believes any American can work hard and become successful. Thus far, I like what I see!

Wind and Rain
Nothing like being awoken by earth shattering thunder, preceded by lightning that filled the 4:00 a.m. sky. Not to mention the wind that carried in the rain. Good morning!
We keep the curtains drawn in the bedroom, but because the entire wall from floor to ceiling is windows, and the room is almost 17 feet in length, being startled awake with thunder, and annoyed with a wall of light, might as well just get up and start the day.
Poor Jack. Like most dogs, he has no use for thunder, lightning, wind, rain or hail, so at the sound of the first clap of thunder he was out from under the covers to see what the heck was going on. At the sound of the wind and rain that followed he decided he had better stick close to Mom or Dad, whichever one was the furthest from the sight and sounds coming from outside. Dogs are so funny. Jack thinks he is so tough when he's around other dogs, (despite the fact that most every dog on the planet is bigger than he is), but then the sound of thunder or the blowing wind has him scared to death. Perhaps it's just the things he cannot see that frighten him. Well, hopefully, this storm will move out quickly.
Henry and I are finally making use of the fitness center in the building. He is trying to lose weight, and I am trying to tone up.....I guess. So, I rode 7 miles on the bicycle. That's it. That's all I did my first time. I've never been a fan of exercising, but I guess I will give it a go. I think he rode 5 miles and then he checked out the treadmill and free weights. All I can say is, good thing American Pickers was on the TV screen.

Beware the 'Occupy' Protests
The logo or sign being used in the protests is the clenched fist. This is not by accident. A man by the name of Ivan Marovic addressed the protesters in NYC on Sept. 22. Who is Ivan Marovic?
Ivan Marovic
Ivan Marovic, Serbia and Montenegro
“Along with a group of other Serbian student leaders, Marovic formed the OTPOR (“Resistance”) movement in 1998. OTPOR used popular protest and peaceful provocation to build anti-Milosevic support in the 1999-2000 period. Although OTPOR started by mobilizing young people, it quickly expanded into a mass movement with members from all sectors of society. As one of the most visible leaders of OTPOR, Marovic best represented the common youth of Serbia and organized rallies and marches in the lead-up to the September 2000 election that ousted the Milosevic regime. After 2000, OTPOR focused on building democratic society in Serbia and opposing corruption. OTPOR has become a model for resistance movements in other countries, including Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus and Albania.” [1]
“After the successful democratic transition in Serbia, Marovic began consulting with various pro-democracy groups worldwide and became one of the leading trainers in the field of strategic nonviolent conflict. He lives in Belgrade where he heads The Center for Nonviolent Resistance, which he founded.
“In 2004 Marovic was tapped by the filmmakers at York Zimmerman Inc. to bring his skills as a strategist and his passion for video games to the design phase of A Force More Powerful – the Game of Nonviolent Strategy, a computer game that was released to the public in March 2006.” [2]
White House “Champion of Freedom” (2005)
Of interest:
The thing they will not tell you about Mr. Marovic and his good friend Srdja Popovic, who were the leaders of OTPOR, is that that organization and they were all sponsored by the CIA. Their handler was William Montgomery, who was coordinating their actions from the CIA Headquarters for Southern Europe in Budapest, Hungary. Wm. Montgomery later became U. S. Ambassador in Post Milosevic Serbia.
The logo for OTPOR is a stenciled fist. Read more here: http://www.truthfrequencynews.com

At times I just can't help myself, as I feel this is important
In April, 2009, this is what Pelosi had to say about the Tea Partiers:
This morning on San Francisco’s KTUV News, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) explained that today’s tea party protests are not by any means an organic grassroots movement. Rather, she said, they are a deliberate astroturf campaign organized by two well-funded right-wing think tanks intent on obstructing the Obama agenda:
PELOSI: What they want is a continuation of the failed economic policies of President George Bush which got us in the situation we are in now. What we want is a new direction. … This [tea party] initiative is funded by the high end — we call call it astroturf, it’s not really a grassroots movement. It’s astroturf by some of the wealthiest people in America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich instead of for the great middle class.
My,my,my. Here is what she is saying about the occupy Wall Street protesters:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday praised the thousands of “Occupy Wall Street” protesters crowding New York City and other cities across the nation.
“God bless them for their spontaneity,” Pelosi told reporters. “It’s young, it’s spontaneous, it’s focused and it’s going to be effective.”
Focused? Hardly. Most of the twenty-something's protesting don't even understand what they are protesting, other than rants against the rich. Effective? Yes, unfortunately, it probably will be effective, because the unions are driving and supporting it. Young? Spontaneous? Yes and no. The majority of protesters are young. The day of rage has been planned for weeks, if not months. So, no spontaneity there. The biggest difference between the tea party and occupy wall street protesters is that the Tea Partiers have jobs and shower daily.
And, what does our dear leader say about these kids protesting today?
I think people people are frustrated, and the protestors are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration as to how our financial system works," said the president."
How hilarious. Obama barely acknowledged the tea party rallies and when he did, he mocked them saying "those people out there waving tea bags about".
We have a serious problem here. Watch as these protests spread and grow in size. You have just met Obama's civilian army. He promised it, but most never paid attention to the severity of what he was actually saying.
From November 2 , 2008, in his own words:
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
There is a video of him saying this, but I do not want to torture anyone with having to look at him, let alone listen to him. Even more alarming is what we find in Obama's health care bill. His very own, fully funded, civilian army.
See the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act, page 1312: SEC. 5210. ESTABLISHING A READY RESERVE CORPS. Section 203 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 204) is amended to read as follows: SEC. 203. COMMISSIONED CORPS AND READY RESERVE CORPS. (a) ESTABLISHMENT
- (1) IN GENERAL.here shall be in the Service a commissioned Regular Corps and a Ready Reserve Corps for service in time of national emergency. (2) REQUIREMENT.All commissioned officers shall be citizens of the United States and shall be appointed without regard to the civil-service laws and compensated without regard to the Classification Act 2 of 1923, as amended. (3) APPOINTMENT.Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the President and commissioned officers of the Regular Corps shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
Remember when Pelosi said we'll just have to pass it to find out what's in it? Yup.

Memories Made
Some pictures of our beautiful daughter taken last weekend. I especially love the one of her and her 'Daddy', as she calls him.
