Baking Soda and your Pet

baking-soda is an inexpensive, valuable household item. Often overlooked or forgotten as a cleaning product, deodorizer, whitener and even as a pet product. For example, did you know--

• You can wash the insides of your pets ears with a solution of warm water and baking soda to eliminate odor, itching and even ear mites.
• If you keep pet food dishes outside, sprinkle baking soda around them to deter insects from approaching the dish, and it won't harm your pet.
• Before adding litter to your cat's box, sprinkle a layer of baking soda first.
• Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on your dog and brush out to remove 'doggy'odor.
• Has your dog been sprayed a skunk? Bathe him in a tub of water, add 1 sm. box baking soda, the juice of 2 lemons and a squeeze of your shampoo.
