Decorated Easter eggs, jelly beans, baby chicks and bunny rabbits.
I loved Easter as a child. My Mom always had a new Spring dress, hat and white gloves for my sister and I. The four of us kids would search for jelly beans around the house and Mom had an Easter basket for each of us, filled with candy and a small gift. We always attended church, but Easter Sunday was special. It was the one Sunday each year that we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In raising our kids, Henry and I had always carried on the tradition. Happy Easter!!!
